Reclaiming the Dream Housing Rehab Program
Founded under the leadership of former Board Chairman and resident, Andre Smart, the Reclaiming the Dream Housing Rehab Program converts vacant housing to vibrant, energy efficient homes in the neighborhoods of West Lakes. The promise of the program is based on the Majora Carter’s quote, “you don't have to move out of your neighborhood to live in a better one." In partnership with Valley National Bank and the City of Orlando, West Lakes Partnership has invested over $680,000 to strengthen single-family housing. Thus becoming the only resident-led organization in the city to do so.
